Other features are available, including a navigation system, a six-speaker stereo, and a seven-speaker Bose stereo system.
Every 2022 Leaf comes with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, which includes forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, rear door alert, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera. Higher trims get Nissan ProPilot Assist, a surround-view parking camera system, driver attention monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
Each 2022 Nissan Leaf is FWD and has a CVT. Battery pack and motor wattage depend on trim. The 2022 Nissan Leaf S and SV are equipped with a 40-kWh battery pack and 110-kW electric motor. They work together to achieve a single charge range of 149 miles. The 2022 Nissan Leaf S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus models sport a 62-kWh battery pack and a 160-kW electric motor. The S Plus has a 226-mile range, while the SV Plus and SL Plus models have a 215-mile range.
