Sheehy Nissan of Manassas Supports the St. Lucy Project

At Sheehy Nissan of Manassas, we are dedicated to helping our local community thrive. We are constantly supporting our community through food and clothing donations, sponsorships and more! This year during Sheehy Auto Stores’ Annual Giving Campaign, we decided to donate $7,500 to the St. Lucy Project to help provide food to people experiencing hunger or food shortages.

The St. Lucy Project is run by the Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington and helps connect food donations and resources in the Arlington area with local food pantries. The St Lucy Project delivers food to food pantries from Frederick, Maryland all the way down to Lancaster, Virginia! While the St. Lucy Project is helping people all over the Northern and Central Virginia areas, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington has also set up food pantries in Manassas, Leesburg, Front Royal and Alexandria. Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington is the charitable sector of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington and helps everyone in their community regardless of faith. We are also very passionate about ensuring food security to everyone in our community which is why we are so excited about our donation to the St. Lucy Project.
